· The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The room was great and there are treasures to discover throughout the hotel, like a middle dining/study area with open ceiling, and a rooftop dining area. The food was delicious as well.

61 Prado is an elegant small hotel in a residential neighborhod which is currently in transition. In days gone by these large homes were where the rich people lived, but then they moved away to trendier areas, and Prado slipped into a decline. Now however these large older homes in this convenient location are again in demand. Relatively inexpensive to buy, money is being put into renovations. Before long Prado will be a trendy destination. In the meantime you can stay here very inexpensively. The house is only about 4 minutes walk from the Prado Metro stop, and 15 minutes walk from the main downtown square - Plaza Botero. With the metro, you can be in Poblano the "in place" for shopping, restaurants and nightlife within 15 minutes.

Perfect hotel to explore the downtown area of Medellin. Really friendly and helpful, huge rooms with hot water, great open shared terrace with great views of the city. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see the sights downtown but to return to a peaceful cool spot

Casa 61Prado was likely the best value and most comfortable guesthouse I could have possibly asked for. While the location of the hotel is a bit obscure (up the hill a bit from the less than glamorous Prado neighborhood of mechanics, factories, and a bit sketchy mix of individuals,) it is a stone’s throw from the Prado metro station, and UBER is extremely, ridiculously cheap in Medellin. A ride from the hotel to the tourist favorite of El Poblado will only run you about 13,000-15,000 COP ($3.). The staff

nice option if you’re looking to get out of the main touristic parts of the city and want to get a more ‘local’ experience within Medellin. there are plenty of nice places to eat in the area for very cheap, and good base to explore more of centro. I personally felt safe walking around the area which I think is most peoples concern

Perfect hostel, cheap and good service. The only problem is the wifi. Never work. The rest is ok. Thanks for everything.
